Overview

First-generation, first-time freshmen coming to Missouri S&T are eligible for our new Trailblazer Scholarship. For fall 2025, eligible incoming students will receive a Trailblazer Scholarship in the amount of $2,000/year.

Eligibility

• Must be a first-generation, first-time freshmen*
• The scholarship is for new incoming freshmen to Missouri S&T starting in fall 2025.
• Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents working on their first bachelors degree to receive this award.
• Award is available for fall and spring semesters only.
• This award is in addition to any other scholarship students may receive.

*First-generation status is denoting the first generation to complete a bachelor's degree. Further defined as a student for whom neither parent/guardian has completed a bachelor's degree.

How to Apply

Apply for Admission by March 1 to be considered! No additional application is required. The scholarship is awarded based on the application for admission as funds are available.

Renewal

Award is renewable for a total of eight (8) semesters. The student must remain in full-time status at S&T with at least a 2.75 GPA to qualify for renewal.
