Overview

This need-based scholarship is available for first-time freshmen enrolling at Missouri S&T in the fall 2027 who are working on their first bachelors degree. The scholarship covers all tuition and fees not covered by other scholarships and grants.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Solving for Tomorrow Scholarship, students must meet these requirements:

  • Must be a Missouri resident
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1, 2027
  • Family’s annual income under $70,000 (total adjusted gross income (AGI) as listed on FAFSA)
  • Test/GPA Criteria
    • Admission with Test Score - Have a 23+ ACT or 1130+ SAT with a 3.0 High School GPA (at least 6 semesters)
    • Test Optional Admission - Have 3.5 High School GPA (at least 6 semesters) and a 3.5 core GPA 
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) each semester at S&T

How to Apply

To receive this award, please complete your FAFSA by February 1st and apply for admission to S&T. Awards will automatically be awarded if the student meets the criteria above (there is no additional application).

Renewal

The scholarship is renewable for four years for students who:

  • Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Complete their FAFSA by February 1 in future years
