Overview

The A+ Recognition Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to domestic, undergraduate, Missouri resident students who qualify for the state of Missouri's A+ Program and are starting at S&T as first time college students. This scholarship is automatically awarded at the time of admission—no separate application required!

The 2027-28 annual scholarship amount is $500 and is awarded in conjunction with the Groundbreaker Scholarship at time of admission. This renewable scholarship is only available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are working on their first bachelors degree.

Eligibility

• Scholarship is available for incoming freshman students starting fall 2027 at Missouri S&T.
• Must be meeting the A+ Scholarship Program criteria through the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD)
• This award requires the student to be continuously enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours at Missouri S&T and maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA for renewal. It is renewable for up to 8 semesters.
• A first-time college freshman is defined as a student who enrolls at Missouri S&T during the first regular academic semester (fall or spring) after high school graduation.
• A+ eligibility will be confirmed before first disbursement - eligibility must be displayed on final high school transcript.
