Overview
The Academic Pathways Scholarship is a merit-based award for high-achieving students interested in studying in a major that is within the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education or the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development. This scholarship is automatically awarded at the time of admission—no separate application required!
The 2026-27 annual scholarship amount is $2,000 (in-state) and $4,000 (out of state) and is awarded in conjunction with the Groundbreaker Scholarship at time of admission. This renewable scholarship is only available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are working on their first bachelors degree.
Eligibility
- All scholarship amounts listed above are for incoming freshman students starting fall 2026 at Missouri S&T.
- This award requires the student to be continuously enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours at Missouri S&T and maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA for renewal. It is renewable for up to 8 semesters.
- A first-time college freshman is defined as a student who enrolls at Missouri S&T during the first regular academic semester (fall or spring) after high school graduation.
- Students who change majors and are no longer in CASE or KUMR will forfeit this award in future semesters.
